How do I receive my Audio Guestbook phone?
The phones come in a compact hard case box for easy transport. You can either pick it up from our HQ or we can deliver it to you, depending on your location. If you need delivery and setup, we can arrange this and inform you of the associated fees based on your venue location.
How long do I have it?
The hire period is 4 days before and 4 days after your event date. If you need it for a different timeframe, please contact us to make further arrangements.
How does the greeting work?
Once you’ve booked your audio guestbook with us, we’ll contact you to get a recorded greeting. You’ll need to record a 30-second message and send it to us in MP3 format at least one week before your event. We’ll take care of uploading the greeting to the phone. Once uploaded, the greeting and phone are ready to go.
What is the storage and recording capacity on the phone?
- White Phone: It has a 32GB memory card, which allows for about 2 days of nonstop recording.
- Champagne Phone: It has an 8GB memory card, sufficient for about half a day of nonstop recording or approximately 7200 minutes of recordings.
What is the audio quality and recommendation for setup in a noisy event?
The phone has high-resolution audio quality (44.1 kHz and 16-bit), capturing all frequencies that a human can hear. The recordings will still be clear even with loud background music – but you’ll still hear some of the fun!
Is the Audio Guestbook easy to move around, and how does it function?
White Phone: Our White Phone comes with a 10ft power cord, which conveniently plugs into any outlet. Don’t worry about unsightly wires – the cord can be easily tucked away, and we’re happy to assist with styling if your venue needs it. Plus, if you’re in a pinch, you can power it using a USB power bank (not included), giving you more options for setup.
Champagne Phone: Our Champagne Phone is designed with convenience in mind. It comes with a built-in battery pack that lasts for an impressive 72 hours with continuous use, or up to 7-10 days in standby mode. And to make things even easier, it’s provided fully charged and ready to go when you receive it.
What is included with the Audio Guestbook hire?
The Audio Guestbook includes:

How do I receive my recordings following an event?
After your event, return the phone to us. We’ll then ask for your favorite images from your special day. Within 48 hours of receiving the images, you’ll get a personalized, password-protected link to your online gallery to view all your recordings.
Can I cancel or make changes prior to my event?
Yes, you can, based on the following timeframes:
- Full refund: Cancel 62 days or more before your event.
- 50% refund: Cancel between 61 and 31 days before your event.
- No refund: Cancel within 30 days of your event.
You can change the date and phone choice for your booking up to 14 days before your event, subject to availability.
